Born and raised in Philadelphia, Chef Thomas Black has always been surrounded by food and family. Growing up in a family-run food store, he learned the importance of hard work, community, and sharing great meals. Over the years, Thomas built his reputation first as the founder of Ocean’s Best, a seafood company that reflected his passion for fresh, high-quality catches, and later through his legendary Philly cheesesteaks that became a local favorite.
Now, he brings together both worlds — his Philly roots and his seafood expertise — through the food truck, where every plate is packed with bold, unforgettable flavor.
